David J. Whyte is a well-known Scottish photographer and travel writer, recognised for his contributions to the golf tourism industry.

With over 30 years of experience, he has been a leading voice in promoting golf destinations both in Scotland and abroad.

Whyte has been VisitScotland's principal golf landscape photographer since the early 90s and has photographed every single golf course in Scotland.

In addition to his focus on golf, Whyte has a passion for travel writing & photography that captures the essence of locations around the world.

David is a member of the judging panel for the annual Scottish Golf Tourism Awards and has lived on the island of Madeira since 2017.
